GOCAF KINTEX THE FINAL SEASON: EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING ABOUT CAMPING
everyone! Whether you’re planning a trip to Seoul or have already visited, welcome! Today, I'm excited to introduce you to N Seoul Tower, one of Seoul’s most iconic landmarks and a must-see spot in the heart of the city. For those who love the city lights, N Seoul Tower is the perfect place to experience the magic of Seoul at night.
Standing tall at the top of Namsan Mountain, N Seoul Tower was originally built in 1975 by three private broadcasting companies (TBC, Dong-A Broadcasting, and MBC) who invested together in 1969. Later acquired by YTN, the tower was renamed N Seoul Tower in 2005, where the 'N' stands for ‘New Namsan.’ While many still know it as Namsan Tower, it’s now most commonly referred to as N Seoul Tower.
Namsan Mountain, standing at 262 meters, is easy to walk up, but during the chilly winters or hot summers, taking the cable car up to the tower is a great way to reach the top comfortably. The cable car operates from 10 AM to 11 PM, and on Fridays, Saturdays, and the day before public holidays, it may run an hour longer depending on the circumstances. If you go early in the morning, it’s usually less crowded, but the real charm of N Seoul Tower comes alive at night.
The cable car fares are 8,000 KRW for a round trip for adults and 5,000 KRW for children. The stunning view of Seoul’s city lights at night makes this ride truly unforgettable.
Enjoy the Night View from the Observatory: The observatory at N Seoul Tower offers a 360-degree view of Seoul’s skyline. On the 5th floor, there’s a rotating restaurant where you can enjoy a meal while slowly taking in the city’s lights—a truly unique experience.
Lock of Love: One of the most famous attractions at N Seoul Tower is the Locks of Love. Couples and families hang locks on the fences, symbolizing their love and wishes. Be sure to leave your own lock to create a lasting memory with your loved ones.
Teddy Bear Museum: The Teddy Bear Museum is a delightful spot where you can explore Seoul’s past and present through adorable teddy bears. It’s especially fun for families and kids. Although there’s an entrance fee, it’s well worth the visit!
Namsan’s Octagonal Pavilion and Beacon Mound: Historically, Namsan was home to beacon mounds used during the Joseon Dynasty to signal invasions. Today, one of these beacon mounds has been restored, giving visitors a glimpse into the past and Namsan’s historical significance as it was once known as Mokmyeok Mountain.
N Seoul Tower is the perfect place to create unforgettable memories with your partner, family, or friends. With stunning city views and a romantic ambiance, it’s an ideal location for proposals. Imagine confessing your love amidst the breathtaking lights of Seoul—it’s a moment you’ll never forget.
That’s all for today’s introduction to N Seoul Tower! If you’re visiting Seoul, make sure to stop by and experience this iconic landmark. See you next time, and happy travels!
